Colin's Favorite Movies
These are Colin's Favorite Movies. The comments in green are my commentaries about the movie.
Blade
Blood, violence, kick-butt action sequences. Blade was the surprise hit of the summer. It completely ROCKED! Not like the lame Batman and Robin crap, but a dark superhero who seriously kicked vampire butt. The movie opens with a "blood bath" and a massive slaughter. The film never slows down. At the end you'll give Blade a standing ovation. Pick it up on DVD and you'll get a spiffy alternate ending. (not as good as the real one, but still pretty cool). I'll always remember my favorite line: "There's Always some MotherF***** who's trying to iceskate uphill." Plus you gotta love those shades.

Starship Troopers
"Welcome to the Rough Necks!" Perhaps one of the bloodiest sci-fi movies ever. The beginning is sort of slow, but shapely Denise Richards makes up for it. As soon as the war starts, you'll be engrossed with the massive action sequences, where both bug and man get slaughtered. It's simply a movie that will pump up your adrenaline. The plot is sufficient, but you know that all you want to see is more dead bugs, and more dead humans. I missed this movie in the movie theaters and am kicking myself ever since. At least pick it up on DVD, to get the full fun of all the rabid slaughter! "Kill em! Kill em all!"

Street Fighter?
I really don't know what Colin sees in this move, but as a fan of the game (have been for 5+ years), I had to see the movie. Hardly the best movie of all time, yet Colin thinks differently. I've got nothing more to say, except that this movie was bad. Only the SF theme kept me watching it. Read what Colin Thought.

Rumble in The Bronx
In my opinion, this is the BEST Jackie Chan Movie. You get all the violence, comedy, and romance you've come to expect from one of his movies, but even more. It's Jackie's first trip to the Bronx, and he gets caught up between rival gangs and the local mob boss! The action scenes are well choreographed, and you'll be amazed to see Jackie jump through a shopping cart. The good thing about this movie is that all the actors are of different ethnicity: Caucasian, African American, Indian, and Asians (Of Course). The bad thing about this movie is that it's dubbed in!!! I can't stand the bad voice acting, and the weird mouth not aligned with the voice thing. My advice: go and find the Chinese version. It's much more realistic, even if you can't understand all of the movie. Well, better start looking for one of those "learn a language in 24 hours!" books, cause you're going to need it.
